If you haven't yet discovered it, you need to check out Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Markets (those of you over from across the pond know them as Tesco's). Their motto is, "Grocery Shopping the way it should be: Simple and Affordable."
It is just that simple and affordable. Visit their online site and sign up for their exclusive offers, you'll get updates on new products, specials of the week and coupons!!
It is a no-frills store where you do have to ring up and bag your own groceries but that is one of the things keeping the costs down, and trust me, the costs are down. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you do need help they are always on hand to help you ring or bag; toddler throwing a tantrum as you try to check out, you've scanned all your items and can't dig your card out of your bag - we've all been there.
There is a large variety of organic, store brand and brand name products to choose from, I'm a big fan of the wine, cheese and deli aisles. Check back later for reviews on the health and beauty products which I am in the process of sampling.
At this point they are mostly on the west coast, California, Arizona and Nevada but I have a feeling these guys will soon be heading east.
